Welcome to the Christian River Video Library!
On this page you will find many videos produced by Christian River which will aid in demonstrating how-to take your Do-it-Yourself charity Directly-to-the-streets. There are many information devices used to convey ideas to those in the Christian River Humanitarian Effort to help them with their independent charity. Photo images, Videos, and slideshows help create a mental picture as well as educate. Our focus is not on creating masterpiece video productions, but professional charity anyone in any community around the world can follow.  Vegas Snap Shots A video dramatizing homelessness in the city that has more hotel rooms than any other city in the world.

A Homeless Journey: Vegas Snap Shots

The City with the most hotels in the world has no place to sleep for thousands of homeless citizens. 19 of the 21 largest hotels in the world are on the Las Vegas Strip. Many are shown in this slideshow video. There are more empty hotel rooms, condos and foreclosed homes through the course of a year than there are the 50,000 yearly homeless citizens in Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas has over 160,000 hotel rooms and growing. That does not count the smaller properties, motels, condominiums, vacant and foreclosed homes, properties under construction, available space for shelters, vacant shelter beds or any other of a number of places where the homeless could sleep and be out of the exposed, harsh  elements.

“There ain’t no rest for the broken heart"--Steve Earle More Than I Can Do

Am I advocating that the homeless should be given these units to sleep? No, I'm illustrating the massive greed and the lack of humanity for fellow humans, many combat soldiers, senior citizens, women and children, the sick and the lame. Las Vegas is a city without compassion. The hotels and condos shown in this video belong to those who could contribute to ending homelessness.  They belong to the very ones that most often contribute to causing homelessness in Las Vegas.
